TOi Member of the Board of Operatore
Re; Bav Material Appeals to Washington
It was our Intention to bring this subject up at this corning*e Board meeting, but unfortunately the matter was.overlooked.
Ve accidentally learned tiist the head of one of our sales depart ments had Intentions of going to the Rubber Reserve in Washingtoo, to ash for special consideration on a quantity of raw material for special manufacture. In view of Or. Van Stone'a recent fine work in Washington, it ia easy to understand that a move of this kind could upset all of the accomplishments which Dr. Van Stone set up last week.
If it meats with the approval of the Board Members, we would like to set up the following policy:
No member of the organization is to make any appeal to Washington for relief on raw materials unless that appeal has been previously cleared and approved tjr the members of the Board of Operators.
If this meets with your approval, we will incorporate Ole item in the minutes of this morning*# meeting.
