RE: REFRASIL SEMINAR Hitco, the manufacturer of Refrasil, has offered to present a two hour seminar on the properties and applications of this material within the aluminum industry. Refrasil is essentially a refractory silica in textile form which has received industry wide acceptance in all applications requiring high temperature insulation without resorting to asbestos base materials. The exact date and place for this meeting has not been selected, but it will be held, if warranted, sometime after 19770CT17. If there are enough people from both Pittsburgh and the Alcoa Laboratories to warrant separate sessions, this will be done. We would appreciate the cooperation of all recipients of this letter to forward to my attention on or before 19770CT12 the names of those persons who may be interested in attending the Refrasil Seminar.
