Preparation of Semple
Duplicate 1 gram samples were shaken for 1 hour in 1000 grams of 0 .2 5 $ (by weight) hydrochloric Acid. After permitting to settle for an additional hour* the mixtures were filtered and the filtrates analyzed for lead b y the speotrographic method
( The mixtures gave off a definite odor of hydrogen sulfide)
