Dear Bob:
I suppose that I have started something by way of a series of long letters with Felix Wonnser on the problem of lead hygiene. Perhaps I might be accused of not sticking exactly to my knitting, but being a member of the Board of Lead Industries I do feel it a responsibility to assist as much as possible in a * problem which concerns the industry as a whole. I-iy knowledge of the matter is probably somewhat superfluous, by being on the outer fringe, as one might say, nevertheless I am sure that I can help, particularly with your support and participation.
I am enclosing herewith the latest file, in particular the letter of Febrviary 23 from Felix, which comments on a letter that I had recently written to him, which letter was fairly well predicated upon your own thoughts as expressed to me.
You will note that Felix is certainly soliciting our help and when I say ours, it looks as though particularly yours in this matter, and I am sure you are interested in the problem and will assist as much as possible. It may take a rather long comment on your part to answer the letter he has written to me, and realiz ing you are so busy, it might be more convenient for you to Just digest the contents of the letter and then some time In the near future when you are East, we can arrange a meeting with Felix. "Whatever you care to do at the moment, would be greatly appreciated.
Please return the attached in due course
