We continue to hear nothing from Illinois EPA and are concerned that this could jeopardize the viability of our Lincoln, Illinois plant. Don't hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss further. Unfortunately, despite further messages and emails with Illinois EPA enforcement (Julie Armitage), they have not replied. Thank you for your help with this. Best regards, Jim From: Warner, Jim Sent: Wednesday, February 7, 2018 5:49 PM To: Ken Wagner (wagner.kennefh@epa.gov) <wagner.kenneth@epa.gov> Subject: Background Materials Sierra Club v. EPA 18cv3472 NDCA Tier 10 ED 002061 00179313-00001 Hi Ken, As discussed, I attach the following: 1. A chart showing the emissions reductions achieved to date and our estimates through the end of the Global Consent Decree installation schedule; 2. A chart showing our emissions limits in Region 5 compared to our competitors, Anchor Glass and Owens-Illinois; 3. The letter we sent to Illinois EPA and Region 5 per the notice provisions in the Global Consent Decree. As I mentioned, Julie Armitage has acknowledged receipt of the letter and made a commitment to coordinate a reply with her team and Region 5, but, to date, we have not had a reply to our letter. We have every belief that we will be able to engage in good faith discussions with all sides on a reasonable resolution of this matter, but want to make sure that there is the appropriate urgency to resolve this, given the pending deadline for installation of controls at our Lincoln, Illinois plant under the terms of the Global Consent Decree.
