Dear Hr. Ames:
In the laat group of X-ray films which we received from your Company, there were several caaee that require comment, Possible, these are all preemployment examinations. I i&ari** that such is the Case in view of the variety of pathological
conditions detected.
R,, SnocX shows a reaction strongly suggestive of asbeetosie although of course, I isov nothing about the possibility of his previous exposure. I do not think he should be accepted
for employment,
0. Dodson has what is probably a cardiac con dition although there night be a tutor. He un doubtedly would be eliminated.
J. Kaylcr shows a very large heart shadow which may be due to disease of this organ in the peri cardial section or about it. I imagine he oust have symptoms which aight prevent him doing nuch
work.
Z. Davig has a large calcified mass in the pleura
which may have been due to ar. old e=?yena. As far as the flic is concerned, 1 see no reason why he
could not be put to work at most any lob.
C. Donahue shows a well marked eJargeration of the vascular pattern, chronic pleurisy over the left lung and calcified tubercles* He cculd probably ycrk in places not exposed to duet.
Charles Hare shews enough evidence of cardiac in volvement to cake his working doubtful.

Holbert Bella has a ciliary calcification with ex tensive involvement of the 17nph nodes at the root of his lung. There Is nothing in this condition whiteh would prevent his employment, tut 1 would not put his in any place where there is too such dust. However, someone might try to make capital out of his film in case of future litigation.
I as not sure whether you want us to comment on these cases but in times when labor la so scarce, I realise one Is undountedly anxious to employ anyone you can safely accept.
I was pleased to know of the disposition of the two previous cases with active pulmonary tuberculosis.
Very truly yours,
