CAUTIONPLATES - The writer still believes that all blending point tanks should be safeguarded by means of our caution plates. At present we have plates on blending tanks but not storage tanks. 6. What is the comparative danger of inorganic lead in comparison with organic lead? 7 Discussion of past accidents and the reasons for the same. a. Were tanks steamed before cleaning? b. Were tanks gasoline vapor free before cleaning? The writer has generally found that a tank is not vapor free or safe to work in from a gasoline standpoint until after the talks have been cleaned. 8. Ey what method is organic load deposited on the bottom of tanks - Is it a continual dropping out process or does the organic lead have some effect on the metal in the tank? 9* We have been given figures on the safe low point on gasoline vapors to air, etc. Can these be converted to one part of gasoline vapors to howmany parts of air? . a.
