As we discussed by phone, the investigator who works out of Dallas, TX but lives in northwest AR wants to visit two poultry operations in AR. He gave very little explanation about why he wants on the farms and could not identify any other water bodies in the area. The integrator has nothing to hide, however, I do not think there is any legitimate reason for the visit. As you know, biosecurity is at the highest level this time of year due to the threats of avian influenza. If there is a legitimate concern I am sure the integrator will allow him on the farm when there are no birds present.

Thanks for speaking with me earlier this morning. As I mentioned over the phone, EPA is interested in visiting 2 poultry farms in Dardanelle in part due to their proximity to Smiley Bayou and/or any other water of the US.
Parsons Farm-35.221843, -93.204457 (off State Highway 155) Everette Farm- 35o15'11.60"N 9314'25.73"W (off Lynx Lane)
Could you please put me in contact with the appropriate people that could grant me access to these farms? We would also like to know the biosecurity protocol for these facilities?
