MADERArrr i#81 ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT SCCUFATIONAL HEALTH TRAINING PROGRAM Preparations are being made to begin training on the controlled sub stances films during the week of June 29th. Schedules will be sent early during the week of June 22 to the supervisors of wageroll and non-exempt personnel, and to all exempt personnel scheduled to at tend classes. This part of the program will cover seven carcinogen/ embryotoxins plus an introductory film to be shown in four separate classes to all required personnel. Revisions have not been made to the existing lead and acrylonitrile films at this time. As the respective EDS procedures require that these two films be shown to department personnel by July 1, it is suggested that the existing procedure be followed. Foremen and supervisors should obtain these films and show them to their employ ees. Reports of personnel who have attended these sessions should continue to be sent to the Maintenance Services Supervisor and the Plant Environmental Superintendent until revisions are made to the EDS procedures. However, an additional copy of trained-personnel reports should"be sent to B. J. Madera - #81, for inclusion in the department occupational health computer program.
