1.0 PREFACE:

Because of the potential health hazards||&sociatecl with asbestos, including the possibility of additional government%con|rfols and/or regulations, and including increasing numbers of customer requests for nori-asbestos linings, it is desirable/ required to eliminate the use of ashestos inodr friction materials.
2.0 OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this tesf^&s^to qualify non-asbestos friction materials for normal CB usage.
3.0 INSTRUCTIONS:
Using materials s|ft|rritted by the writer, perform automatic drum driveline decel eration tests p'er the following:
Drumn*test*temperatures: 100F (wear-in thru stabilization),

200F, 300F, 400F, 100F, 200F (wear-test).
Drum test speed: 3000 FPM initial velocity.
