RE: Request: Citizen response to nuclear emergency
Brian,
Please a ttrib u te to an EPA spokesperson:
Like o th e r federal agencies, the EPA recommends citizens " Go Inside, Stay Inside, Stay Tuned" fo r a radiological or nuclear emergency. This messaging is consistent across the federal governm ent fo r nuclear detonations and also can be seen on CPC's radiation emergencies w ebsite and FEMA's Ready.gov website.

Hi Enesta,
I'm interested in this angle because of Trump's comments on North Korea.
My deadline is today.
Thanks, Brian

Dear Press Office,
I am a freelance reporter writing for The Daily Beast and The Daily Dot.
Has the EPA published guidelines for how citizens should respond in a nuclear emergency?
I'm specifically interested in guidelines that refer to whether citizens should remain inside, watch TV and social media for updates, and related guidelines.
Do such guidelines exist on the EPA website?
I'm looking forward to hearing back.
