These persons must be monitored for levels of exposure to VC1 and given an opportunity for medical tests and examinations. Occasional visitors, as defined below need not be monitored or medically tested. Regulation of entry into regulated areas is required by law so that employee exposure to vinyl chloride can be controlled and monitored to minimize exposure. Anyone entering building 4l4 without proper authorization mavbe subjected to disciplinary action. Building 414 E.W. 6 S. is the only regulated area in the Technical Center.
