Romagnoli - 512/303 September 18, 1987 ... `EM&TS - HS&EA Industrial Hygiene Asbestos Exposure Monitoring Attached are the results of the seven days of asbestos monitoring, while completing the cleanup at Cellosize Building 77. This included the storeroom, maintenance shop, equipment and tools, maintenance lunchroom, the backroom off of the shop, the electrical switchrack room, the mezzanine and the outside area south of building 77. The rooms inside the building were sealed as much as possible and air was continuously exhausted through HEPA fiIters. All area and personal samples for the final seven days of monitoring were below the 0.2 fiber/cc permissible exposure level standard per OSHA asbestos standard 29CFR 1926.58 and were below the 0.1 fiber/cc action level per the same standard. Employees wore no street clothes, two pair of coveralls, headcovers, boots, gloves and A0 R57-A HEPA half-face cartridge respirators. They showered before meals and at the end of the workday before leaving plant. Please inform G. F. Sowards, J. C. Coyner, S. R. Erskine, D. W. Brogan and M. L.
