Gentlemen:
I trover if I can get from you information regarding th9 possible toxicity of ethyl gas from inhalation. The specific problem is that of a man who has worked in one of the large tanks of a gas distributor here in Hartford and ms presumably overcome by fames. Shortly afterward he developed a mental condition of a delirous nature which was computable with a lead encephalopathy0 I would be grateful to you for any reprints which you may have or direct information from your laboratory staff which may be of assistance to me in this situation* I may say that three days after the supposed trauma no laboratory evidence of lead was found but this, I believe, is notumsual in the lead:encephalopathieso
Thanking you in advance for your cooperation, 1 remain.
Host sincerely yours.
