Co, Houston, Texas Deer Sir: I was most happy to visit your plant Saturday Evening, February 18, 1956 \d.th Dr, William V, Giessel, and i m p a c t your Battery Manufacturing Facilities, A3 you requested, I will be pleased to work in your behalf on your plant industrial hygiene,sanitation, and production problems to the best of my ability for the following compensation*: 1, An hourly rate of |5,00 per hour, tilth a minimum of $20,00 in any one day. Time to begin when leaving Texas City, I return on my own time. 2, A minimum fee of $200.00 on job. 3* All expenses in addition to above for travel at the rate of 10 a mile, cost of drafting materials and prints, cost of typing, cost of meals and Hotel, if requested by you to stay overnight or required to work later than 10:00 P.M. on any one day, 4. All work to be done after 5:30 P.M. in Evening or on Saturdays and Sundays, as this cannot interfere with my present position at Monsanto. The first part of this work will be detailed production investigation and building measurements with information furnished by you or your General Foreman and approved by you. After this information is gained I will then draw up a Building Floor Plan and we, y o u and I, will then outline a production flow with a minumun of lost production time, based on some studies I will have made on the Production. After Production Flow has been set, we will then determine Storage#, both live and dead.
