RESOLVED, that the following actions of the Executive Committee be and they hereby are approved. Approving ex penditure of $ 950.00 by John i. Lewis & ^ros. Co., for resetting curbing along Bast Thompson Street at its Philadelphia Plant. Appropriating $ 875.00 maximum, for survey of building levels, and supplementary engineer ing services in connection therewith, at Bradley Works, Atlantic Branch, and General Research Laboratories, as a basis for determining damage from Jay Street subway construction, if any, and for establishing proper claim therefor. Revising authority for signatures against E. to. Blatcnford Company (New York) Branch bank account to permit signature of checks for &250. or less by R. F. Keilich, Comptroller, and william Smith, Cashier. Authorizing the President to execute transfer to Consolidated Tin Smelters, Ltd., of the shares of williams Harvey & Company, Ltd., registered in the name of the Company in exchange for Ordinary and Preference Shares of said transferee, and transfers of the last mentioned shares to General Tin Industries, Inc., assignee of Patino Mines Enterprises Consolidated (Inc.), in consummation of the sale of said shares of Williams Harvey & Company, Ltd., to said Patino Mines & Enterprises Consolidated (Inc.) heretofore authorized. RESOLVED, that the action of the officers of the Company in purchasing for investment 15,000 shares of the 6$ 2nd Preferred Stock of American Smelting & defining Company at an average price of $102,876 per share, be and it hereby is approved. RESOLVED, that the officers of the Company be and they hereby are authorized, empowered and directed to renew for the term of three years beginning duly 1, 1930, the contribution of $500. a year heretofore made by this Company for the work of Rational industrial Conference Board, Inc. RESOLVED, that the action of the officers of the Company in its name and behalf in joining with Associated Lead Manufacturers, Ltd., and other English companies in the purchase of all the issued capital stock, 80,000 shares of 1 each fully paid, of Champion Druce k Company, Ltd., English white lead manufacturers, at a price of 2 a share, the participation of this Company -in said purchase being 8000 shares, 10$, at a cost of/16,000, be 'and it hereby is and said purchase is in all respects approved, ratified and confirmed. RESOLVED, that the officers of the Company be and they hereby are authorized, empowered and directed in its name and behalf to execute and deliver any and all such papers and to take any and all such steps as they may deem necessary or appropriate to give its assent and approval, as a shareholder of associated Lead Manufacturers, Ltd., to an amalgamation of that company with Goodlass, Wall & Company, Dtd., upon the terras set forth in the Scheme of Arrangement dated July 29, 1930, filed in the ^igh Court of Justice, Chancery Division, and in the circular letter to shareholders of Associated Lead Manufacturers, Ltd., dated August 13, 1930, and further to give its assent and approval to such amalgamation with respect to those certain additional shares of said Associated Lead Manufacturers, Ltd., covered by that certain purchase option agreement between this Company of the one part and Cookson & Company, Ltd., and others of the other part dated I; ov ember 2, 1929.
