Hine recently contacted the Department of Environmental Sciences to express a concern that examining physicians did not have available to them all of the 5. !(,'?* necessary information to perform asbestos examinations. In particular, the data relating to job classification and asbestos exposure was requested. Please find enclosed, copies of the required information for each employee in your plant. This information should be provided to the physician performing your asbestos medical examinations as soon as possible for inclusion in each employees medical file. Additionally, please note that a number of your employees have no monitoring data available. It is important to ascertain the' status of these employees with respect to potential asbestos exposure and perform the necessary monitoring.
