Today's submittal is being made under TSCA Section 8(d) Model Health and Safety Data Reporting Rule (40 CFR Part 716) , to the extent the rule applies to air emissions modeling studies of substances listed at 40 CFR 716.120. The report is required to be prepared for Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality in association with our recent request for revisions to Vista's consolidated air emissions permit. Engineering estimates of air emissions were calculated for the permit revision and the fencelire concentrations were modeled for several chemicals. 1,2-Dichloroethane (CAS No. 107-06-02) is one of the modeled chemicals and is also listed at 40 CFR 716.120; hence the possible applicability of TSCA 8(d) to this report. The report is anticipated to be refined by the inclusion of additional emissions data in early 1990 and may be reissued at that time.
