Improved exhaust ventilation has been installed in the Brickmason Shop. 12. There is still some concern that dust at the insulation band saw is not being completely collected. Similarly in the Carpenter Shop, it was surmised the table saw and band saw dust collectors are inadequate. 13. There was discussion once again on the time of Maintenance Safety meetings. 14. Use of a specific type of glass cloth instead of asbestos for welding spark containment was discussed. The material being'utilized during this test period is in the Carpenter Shop. " Whenever a suitable substitute for asbestos cloth is sanctioned, the latter will be discarded. 15. Concern was expressed that asbestos can be scattered when hauling pipe spools with a boom truck.
