These provisions will not become law until the House and Senate vote and the President signs. However, it is not expected that much will change. The reporting requirements and the affected chemicals are many. Significant changes may be required in individual plant reporting protocols and man hours will be needed to prepare the required documents and reporting forms. Thomas G. JCL gave a talk on hazardous waste to a group of Communications people from Finland. 2. Submitted comments to EPA on Characteristic Leaching Procedure. their proposed Toxic 3. Drafted comments for internal review on EPATs proposal to I eliminate the 90-day storage exemption under RCRA. 6. Attended a meeting with the Louisiana DEQ and LCA to discuss the proposed Asbestos Entity/Worker Registration, Education and Training regulation. At this point, the proposal contains burdensome training requirements that are inconsistent with OSHA Asbestos regulations. 7. Advised the surfactant business area on procedures necessary to register a tobacco suckerant blended product or register as a supplemental distributor of a DeSoto product. As a supplemental distributor, we can market DeSoto*s registered product under our product name. 8. Began reviewing a polymers product development activity to determine if a PMN would be required for the product. Initial review indicates the product is probably a mixture by TSCA definition. 9. Contacted the Vista Brussels* office to request assistance in obtaining a MSDS and TSCA certification for the Olefina/Petrofina product, RADIASURF 7135. 10. Issued the PMN for CATAPAL XD Alumina. 11.
