G-E FEATURES:
The new G-E Oil Furnaces are extremely compact units for a given capacity . . . lower in co st . . . easy to in s ta ll. Quicker steaming because of high heat transfer rate and low water content -- (steam s within 2 or S minutes after thermostat calls for heat). G-E Flam e Detector provides complete shut-down within 5 seconds in event o f flam e fail ure. G-E Master Control-Telechron motorized for a posi tive, tim ed op eratin g se quence. Fine Atomization -- 100,000,000 particles from every drop o f oil -- plus G-E Inverted Flam e insures complete com bustion. Flam e shoots down, then is turned back upon itself. In the G-E Heat Trap, the hot gasses are literally trapped in the furnace until their heat is absorbed, they then pass out through the flue connection at the bottom o f the furnace. G-E OiJ Flow Stabilizer maintains constant oil rate essential to high fur nace efficiency. G-E Oil F ur naces have proved extremely economical in operation.
Completely automatic. Selfoiling motor for long-lived, carefree operation. Two-try re-start mechanism attempts to start furnace twice before complete shut-down. (See your A.I.A. File No. 30-C-l.)

G-E AIR CONDITIONING C O ILS AND COOLING
A complete line o f heating and cooling coils for the full range o f uir conditioning applications. Coils have copper tins, Electro-Therm ally bunded to copper tubin g to m aintain high heat transfer efficiency. Copper return bends are silver brazed to tubing. Sturdy steel tube sheet serves us cumpuct end casing and m ounting tlunge. Coils are especially designed for mount ing in housing or ducts, and can be bolted together to form a
continuous, unbroken surface. From top to bottom and from
end to end, the face area o f G-E coils is 100'X- effective, with no waste space taken up by supports, braces or casings. A condensed table o f sizes is given below; they are also available in 2 in. steps o f coil length so that it is seldom necessary to
alter plenum chambers or housings to accom m odate G-E coil su rface. All coils built by special machinerv in General Electric factories. Descriptive bulletins and full application data now available on each line o f coils.
DIRECT EXPANSION COILS For Cooling and Dehumidification with Freon-12 Refrigerant
Built for direct expansion o f refrigerant, these coils represent the ultimate in flexibility and adaptability to sum m er air conditioning system s. Freon
is fed to coils through a multiple outlet expansion nine and distributing header which assures uniform liquid distribution even under widely vary
ing loads. Expansion valves are mounted at the factory. All connections are silver brazed. T o deoxidize inside su rfaces, coils are filled with nitrogen
during brazing, leaving them clean and bright. For full description and detailed instructions for coil selection, see your A.I.A. File No. 30-F, or write for booklet 450-3.
G-E WATER COILS
For A ir Conditioning Systems Using Well, Chilled or Hot
W ater
G-E water coils have been carefully designed fo r air conditioning service where the m edium o f heating or cooling is well water, refrigerated water, or hot water. They are available in two types: sealed circuit coils fo r recirculation of refrigerated water or hot water, and cleanuble coils for well water, city water, or cooling tower systems where the inside of the tubes must be cleaned occa sionally, Sealed circuit coils are o f the sam e general construction as direct expansion coils, plus generous m an ifold s o f wrought copper, silver brazed to the tubing. They are available in both counter-flow and mixed-flow types. Cleanable coils have easily removed welded heuders of copper bearing steel, and are available for single p ass, m ultiple pass, or special flow arrangements. Write for booklet 450-6.
Steam Coils
For use in air co n d ition in g systems using steam as the
heating m edium . G-E steam coils are available with the same su perior features a s G-E direct expansion and water coils.
