The Norpar 12 Solvent was circulated for several hours with only nitrogen and methane in the system. The oxygen analyzers gave no indication of oxygen being liberated from the solvent. 2. The relief valve settings on the solvent storage tank, D-330, will be left at 100 psig for the time being. These will be re-evaluated again in the future. TjsExxon does not routinely analyze their solvent products for degradation but would be r willing to work with Dow on this. It may be better to have the G.C. Lab do these tests periodically. 4^rfie low solvent to gas feed ratios will be examined using the simulation to "^determine if there is cause for concern over high oxygen in the purge gas. 5. Reactive Chemicals tests will be scheduled to determine compatibility of the MRU additives with the Norpar 12. The concern over the possibility of Benzene in the Norpar 12 was communicated to Exxon.
