JARMON MANAGER FACILITIE ANSD PLANNING DU PONT COUNTRY CLUB ASBESTOS IN TENNIS COURT TOP MATERIAL Last week I contacted Dr. Lou Burnett of GAF concerning the matter of asbestos in tennis court surface material He relayed the request to Bob Hylan an industrial hygienist who telephoned me today Hylan informed me that the asbestos in GAF material has been measured by the approved method for airborne particulates The results indicate that the level of airborne particles on the court and near the players approached background low levels found anywhere i.e. household rooms Therefore Hylan assures that the levels measured were low enough to be determined safe I was also assured that they plan to continue testing this product If you require a written statement from GAF their management's involvement will be necessary Bob Hylan 201-628-3506 can probably assist you with this request If you need additional information please call me 366-2144 Pamela sort PAMELA J.
