From: > Sent: Wednesday, February 7, 2024 12:42 PM To: ECHA Restriction PFAS > Subject: [invitation] CLEPA Materials Regulations and Sustainability Event 2024 CSS/PFAS session Dear PFAS restriction team I am reaching out regarding the upcoming CLEPA Materials Regulations and Sustainability event taking place 27 and 28 June in the Frankfurt airport area. As automotive suppliers we are actively following and engaging in the PFAS restriction proposal process and see this as a high priority topic. We would highly appreciate your participation in the event, notably for the session on Chemical Strategy for Sustainability/PFAS taking place on the 27 June. As we are prioritizing the in person experience, we request all speakers to join us at the venue. For that reason we have also selected a venue that is easily reachable by both train and plane - the Sheraton hotel and conference centre in the Frankfurt airport. While we fine-tune the details of the agenda, we had already in mind a potential contribution from ECHA in the form of introductory presentation (20-30 min) on the status of the PFAS restriction proposal followed by a panel of discussion with different automotive stakeholders (60 min). This would be a key opportunity to discuss the status of the regulatory process and an opportunity to exchange on foreseen challenges and opportunities. The contents of the panel would be prepared and agreed with the speakers in due time but for now I would kindly request your feedback on whether one of the colleagues from your team would be interested and available to participate in this panel. I kindly request your initial confirmation by the 16 February 2024. In the meantime, I wish you a rest of a nice week ahead.
