I apologize for the very late reply and thank you for your request for a meeting with the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency to discuss the restriction proposal for all per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs). We do not consider that a meeting at this stage would bring added value and, therefore, politely decline for the request. However, we consider that stakeholder input and relevant data is important for the regulatory process and outcome. As ECHA's public consultation on this restriction proposal is ongoing, we advise you to use the formal mechanism for consulting stakeholders in order to make the information you provide available for all the relevant bodies at the appropriate stages of the process. L. Gore & Associates, and Solvay). I am contacting you to request a meeting with you and colleagues on the issue of the PFAS REACH restriction proposal. We would appreciate the opportunity to exchange views with you on the proposal. We would be delighted if you had availability during the month of April or May. For a meeting with you, we would partner with associations and businesses present in Finland to also present testimony from industries which are using fluoropolymers in their products. As such they can explain their views on the PFAS REACH restriction proposal and the importance of fluoropolymers to their sector and to the Finnish economy.
