Seal stacks at base openings to prevent draft through heater. 3. Repair brick work and cast refractory as necessary. Erect scaffold from floor to roof inside heater. Only Inspection is to mark on the tubes. See inspection if tie off to tubes is required. 4. Replace all missing and broken brick on peep hole doors. a. Replace nose cone bricks: (1) Use 316 S/S wavy "V" anchors on 9" centers. Use welding procedure H-207, R-l. (2) Install AP Green 97 with needle fibers. 5. Vacuum crevices between floor bricks after both inspection and repair, to allow for brick expansion and to help prevent buckling. 6. Clean sulfur from annular space between inner stack and base shell. 7. Open all return bends on north end of convection section tubes as marked by Inspection. 8. Open inspection blinds south end convection section. 9. Replace bottom diapers. 10. Replace upper tube K-A-0 Wool basket enclosures.
