The Foundation is happy to announce election of Eastman Kodak Company, and the reaffiliation of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company to membership. ASSISTANCE TO FOUNDATION MEMBERS. Occupational medical and industrial hygiene studies have been carried out in support of several Foundation member companies. A number of toxicologies studies have also been performed in the Foundation's laboratory and where merited, results are unc consideration for publication. AWARDS TO FOUNDATION TRUSTEES. Professor Theodore F. Hatch. Industrial Hygiene Foundation Treasurer, was presented the Adolph G. Hammer Merit in Authorship Award by the Industrial Medical Association on April 27. Hit paper "Broadened Objectives of Occupational Health in an Age of Chronic Diseases" published in the April 1965 issue of the Journal of Occupational Medicine was judged best publication in the field for the year September 1, 1964 to August 31, 1965. At the same time, honorary membership in the In dustrial Medical Association was beBtowed on Professor Hatch, making him the second person ever to be so recognized. Such membership is conferred upon individuals not members or Fellows of the Association who have contributed distinguished service to the objectives for which the Association stands. Dr. Robert B. O'Connor, a Trustee of the Industrial Hygiene Foundation, was accorded the highest honor in the field of industrial medicine on April 27. The Industrial Medical Association conferred upon him the Knudsen Award which annually recognizes a physician who has attained distinction in the field of occupational medicine and hygiene. ANNUAL MEETING PROGRAM. Finishing^touches are being added to the tentative program for th> Foundation's 31st Annual Meeting, which was approved by the Board of Trustees on May 10. The pr gram will appear in the June issue of Industrial Hygiene Digest.
