Gardiner, President S. P. Reeves, Tice President A. M. Wilson, Tice President L. T. Beale, Director The meeting was ealled to order by Mr. J. V. Gardiner, who presided, and Mr. A. M. Wilson reported the minutes of the meeting. The minutes of the meeting of April *0, were read and approved. Mr. Gardiner commented on eommunieations from Mr. Rockwell, covering the reemployment of World War II veterans as it relates to their vacation privileges) and the nev policy as approved by the Directors in connection with the use of the Rational Lead Company*o laboratories by outside concerns. Both of these subjects we heartily endorse. Mr. Reeves presented three Suggestion Awards, as follows Mr. Robert Carlson, the amount of $7*00, for suggesting a method of pumping pulp lead in steel drums for the Color Department. Mr. Warren Heinselman, in the amount of $10.00, for suggesting a better and safer way of handling distilled water in the laboratory. Mr. David McIntyre, in the amount of $12.50, for suggesting that waste water from the flake furnace be used for the steam mill. On a motion duly made and seconded it was unanimously decided to make the awards in the amounts specified above. ,The regular report of deliveries for the week ending Hay 4 was submitted by Mr. Wilson.
