Adequately and entirely insulated with horn fiber. Insulation extends past end of female half of connector, which should always be used on the live side. Different colors can be used to indicate polarity. Two drop-forged electrolytic copper lugs are bolted together by one square-shoulder, nonrotating steel bolt, with hardened nut and lock washer. Surfaces of lugs are machined for full contact.
