Schaefer I am attach ins copy of letter written by Oscar Lewis to Dr. Xehoe, which you forwarded here for our informa tion and return. Although according to Charlie, this subject is apparently closed, I felt that I would like to comment on part of the quotation from Kriek's letter as it has to do with a shipment of tetraethyl lead in bottles. I personally feel that we should investigate the shipping methods, as certainly v-:e would not countenance shipments from here of tetraethyl lead in glass bottles without some type of outside container. My only other comment possibly may be one of little or no consequence. 'This has to do with the storage of tetraethyl lead in the Kodak Company's laboratory in bottles of 2-quart capacity. I have in mind in this the storage in our own laboratory for I assume we allow the STEYL Fluid or tetraethyl lead to remain in the can within the outside canister. I would appreciate your comments on this as a matter for my information and guidance. 3:EF
