Atkins, 0C-201 CATHODE CLEANING FACILITY - ASBESTOS TESTING The Environmental Capital Projects and Planning group is preparing to conduct an environmental assessment of the surface and sub-surface of the subject property. THIS IS AN URGENT REQUEST FOR HELP IN LOCATING ANY FILES HAVING TO DO WITH THE RESULTS OF ASBESTOS TESTING ON SOIL, AIR AND WATER SAMPLES AT THE CATHODE CLEANING FACILITY. Conversations indicate considerable testing for asbestos was done at the site in 1987 but, as yet, I have found little actual documentation. I presently have the results of tests on NINE SOIL SAMPLES by McKee labs, on THREE of the same soil samples by Analytical Services and THREE samples of water taken during closure of the concrete lined Primary and Secondary Ponds. PLEASE SEARCH YOUR FILES A.S.A.P. AND SEND ME ANYTHING YOU HAVE ON ASBESTOS TESTING. IT WILL COST SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS TO REPRODUCE WHAT I UNDERSTAND HAS BEEN DONE. D. M.
