' Dear Bob:
Enclosed please find the second draft of the plasma lead paper.
Please let me know whether you will be able to have the figures constructed. I also would like to know whether you would be willing to have this submitted to The Journal of Laboratory and Clinical Medicine. The reasons I would like to submit it to that journal are that we are both members of the Central Society; the paper, in my opinion, would reflect credit on the journal; they are interested in studies of this type; and the various industrial journals would not have the kind of audience that could criticize the paper soundly. If you wish a Clinical paper could be written drawing on this data for publication in the v industrial journals; I feel this should wait until all our data is published.
I am also curious to know whether you feel that the plans you are considering now for consolidating the medical care of the lead foundries in Cincinnati would have any place for me, on a consultant basis, considering my training, interest, and available time; or might lead to support of my finishing the work we have talked about.
> Sincerely yours,
Henry W. Ryder, M.D.
