Dear Mr* Mittnacht* On my return Saturday I had a 3hort talk with the- two men whom we have employed in a experimental study of the lead exposure associated with repair work at the Dayton Power and Light Company In accordance with our initial plan further observations on these men will be completed December 1st at which time they will be, so far as they know now, free-lances* It is possible, of course, that Dayton Power and Light will have further work for them but that seems improbable* As a consequence, they are both considering what employment they may be able to find* One of them has had an offer of a position which he found it necessary to turn down because of his agreement with me* Both men would be glad to take work of almost any type in the employ of the Ethyl Gasoline Corporation. Such acquaintance as they have had v/ith the work of the Corporation convinces them that they would like very much to have an opportunity to-w ork for the Ethyl Gasoline Corporation* You should understand that we are tinder no obligations to them in any way# On the other hand I would not know where to look for two more thoroughly honest and reliable men. Both of them drive automobiles and although neither one of them has any considerable amount of technical training, both of them are naturally intelligent and are capable of learning* It occurs to me, therefore, that there might be some place for th two men cop3i ierihjg the various types of expansion which are de veloping in the Company's business* Fbr example, you may be Interested in obtaining additional reliable mn to drive tank trucks.
