WOW! !! This could be our "in". I talked with Joe Machado, our former Oust barely) SD Manager, and he gave me a long list of contacts.
Chris Holmes is the director of the Shell Center for SD at Rice University. Joe suggested that I not contact him now, because he will grab hold and run with it, but might be an invaluable asset after we get more organized.
Joe also suggested that this is a Chinese political issue and will probably have to be worked through the Chinese political system and the Chinese academic community. We might be able to work it internally within the consortium member companies as an SD project, but that it would definitely be through political and academic channels in China.
Just thought that I would share this preliminary info with you now.
