My only comment concerning this matter is that we do know the U.S. Food and Drug Administration LIB test is at least twice as severe and in some cases three times as severe as the ASTM C-555 Test. We know this from the preliminary work done at Rutgers (which we reviewed, I believe, in March) and I think perhaps this should be pointed out to Dr. Kehoe. Naturally, this had the immediate effect of cutting the former USPA lead re lease limit from 7 ppm to 3*5 or perhaps even 2h ppm--very close to Dr. Kehoe's desired 2 ppm. JFS:1m cc: Mr. B.
