I am glad to inform you that the Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology has accepted the five papers on lead poisoning that were included in the symposium at the Cincinnati meeting. There has been a very long delay in the consideration of these papers because of Phil Drinker's absence from his office, but it has finally been decided that the symposium will be printed without any accompanying papers in the February number of the Journal . Drinker has also suggested that the symposium might subsequently be printed for wider distribution and sold. If you have any reaction to this suggestion, you should let me have it as soon as possible. For my part* I a very glad that the symposium is being printed * and I should be glad to see it have a father wide distribution, if that is possible. I took the liberty of having your article retyped to suit the requirements of the editor. I did this to save delay, since we checked it over carefully and I am sure you will find it an accurate reproduction of you?work. I have also asked that the proof of all of the papers be returned here to me for checking, since this will; save everybody trouble as well as time, and there will be less chance of any of the material being lost or disarranged.
