Inspector provided copies of Small Entity Compliance Guide to Renovate Right booklet and the Renovate Right pamphlet. Inspector reviewed projects identified from the building permit database at 1520 East Ash Street and 205 W 21st Street. Company representative stated they were asked to secure permits by city to facilitate residential property renovations conducted by other companies. Company representative stated residential property renovations were ongoing at 1520 East Ash Street, Pueblo, Colorado. Inspector stated that compliance with the RRP Rule at 1520 East Ash Street is required. BAHA Construction, Inc. contacted property owner to complete RRP Rule compliance requirements at 1520 East Ash Street. Owner of property at 1520 East Ash Street contacted the inspector to discuss RRP Rule requirements and confirmed that BAHA Construction, Inc. was hired to provide engineering consulting, not the renovation. The property was vacant and being redeveloped for rent or sale. Owner of property at 1520 East Ash Street had BAHA Construction, Inc. conduct cleanup consistent with RRP Rule. BAHA Construction, Inc. provide documentation including Renovator Recordkeeping Checklist signed by certified renovator (Miguel Torres) indicating property was cleaned up. BAHA Construction, Inc. had only limited involvement in project at 205 W 21st Street. BAHA Construction, Inc. did not conduct any physical work on the property and could not provide RRP Rule compliance records related to work.
