Meanwhile it is desirable to clear away any and all unfinished matters relating to the work. I talked over the situation with Dr. Suskind before he left and went over a memorancum which he had prepared after examining all the material which you had supplied. Orthosilicate and silica gel (Dutch Boy Plumb- -Sil) If lead silicate sulfate (Dutch Boy Tribase E) is the basic silicate which you suggested for testing, we have this formulation too. However, we are not certain that Tribase E is the one which should be tested. Will you enlighten us on this? We should have corresponding information on the white lead and the dry carbonate. Can you supply this information? In the case of the latter two substances, are you interested in the effects of the concentrations employed in paints or in plastic formulations?
