Gentlemen:
We are pleased to submit our bid on the above referenced project. We propose to furnish and install the thermal insulation and jacketing as follows:
1. BAGHOUSE SIDES, TOP AND HOPPERS
3" thick ETR mineral wool secured with 10 gauge weld pins between stiffener ribs. .016 corrugated aluminum sheets shall be screwed to the stiffener ribs. The doors of the baghouse will be left operable. We have assumed that the space between each baghouse will not be filled; however, all the baghouses will be "Boxed-in" with insulation.
2. DUCTWORK WHERE SHOWN ON DRAWING
Duct on top of baghouse, duct from existing spray dryer to baghouse, duct from the matte furnace to the existing' spray dryer. Insulate in the same manner as the baghouse. We have assumed that the expansion joints, butter fly dampers, and access doors will be left open.
3. CEILCOTE SCRUBBER PIPING
