Sydney Hupp Executive Scheduler Office of EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt
1200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW Washington, DC 20004
Dear Ms. Hupp:
The National Turfgrass Federation (NTF), a 501(c) 6 non-profit formed in 2007 to coordinate and support turf grass research within the federal and state governments, will host several members for a Capitol Hill Day later this month. As one of the members for this event is a greens researcher from Oklahoma State University, NTF requests a meeting with Administrator Scott Pruitt two days prior to this event, anytime on Tuesday, April 25th. (Our meetings with congressional leaders is on Thursday, April 27th.)
NTF has been actively involved promoting an EPA-managed program called "WaterSense", which promotes and recognizes devices and practices that conserve water use. As such, the Federation held several meetings in 2016 with EPA's Office of Wastewater Management. Given turf research's importance for areas where water is a premium, NTF would appreciate an opportunity to discuss this important incentive program with Adm. Pruitt, and how it relates to Oklahoma in particular. Two of NTF's confirmed meetings on 4/27 will be with Oklahoma Representatives Frank Lucas and Tom Cole.
As NTF policy consultant and coordinator for these meetings, I can be reached via e-mail ati Personal Emaii/Ex. 6 i or direct work line at 703-299-9091. Thanks for your consTderatioh'of this "request.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Moore NTF Policy Consultant Alexandria, VA / Washington, DC
