The lab evaluation of the passive monitor marketed by GMD Systems, Inc. was completed during June. Future use of the device will be reconciled following issue of the report on the evaluation July.

Program Audits Routine Dosimetry The second quarter audit of dosimetry frequency versus plan was conducted. No deficiencies were found. Respiratory Protection An audit of the plant respiratory protection program was conducted. Recommenda tions for improvement, based on the audit results, were made and discussed with each department that uses respirators.
Material Safety Data Sheets MSDS were reviewed by the Compound Department. A copy of each MSDS that pertains to the Compound, Dry Blend, and Plasticizer Department will be issued to the Compound Operations Supervisor.
