Dear Nancy, I cannot express enough of my appreciation as I understand that you always make time out of your busy schedule to make these arrangements.
Justin told us how much you treat this invitation. W e heard representatives from your office will be attending both the meetings held by the Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau this year. He said that this is rare yet delightful news.
I have conveyed your enthusiasm to the Director General, Hsieh. We are both delighted and would just like to say thank you so much. A few of my colleagues, myself included, will be having a conference call with U.S. EPA next Wednesday. We're all very much looking forward to learning new things from you and your colleagues at this year's conference.
Best Regards,
Cherish Ni

Cherish, Our EPA international team has been in contact with EPA Taiwan so I think we are well on a path for putting together these seminars. They are taking the lead for coordinating now and Iwill continue to ensure that our technical experts are available. Thank you for helping to facilitate discussions

Hi Nancy: After the previous email, we are planning to arrange the event about U.S.-Taiwan cooperation. I am writing to request for advice on a seminar/conference that our company and the Taiwan EPA are thinking of hosting.
The conference title will be U.S.-Taiwan Pesticides Seminar and Conference, which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan during mid-September, 2018 (date yet to be confirmed). I've also attached a draft document for your convenience to show you in detail the topic and discussion questions that we have in mind. The Council of Agriculture, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and other regional offices in Taiwan are also interested to come join the discussion and hearing.
My company is the consulting team to help gathering a planning information. We are thinking to invite two representatives from the U.S. EPA to come and share experiences regarding the EPA's pesticides policies and management. Do you have any recommendations of whom we should contact and invite to come speak? Also, do you also have any other suggestions on what other topics is worth discussing for this conference?
After your recommendations, I will organize the ideas from both Taiwan side and your precious ones. And then, Taiwan EPA will send an offical invitation to U.S. EPA.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, we would appreciate your any feedback and recommendations
Best Regards,
Cherish Ni

Dear Nancy, It is my great pleasure to receive your mail. From your very warm and friendly words, I knew that you are such a nice person. I was I assigned by the Director of TCSB, Director Hsieh, to join this meeting. Another objective is to have more communication with US EPA. We are very sorry that we just passed the Chinese New Year, and we didn't reply your invitation promptly. And, it is too short time to arrange another representative from TCSB. We really appreciate your recommendation to join this training, I got so much information these couple days. Now, we are planning our visiting GlobalChem 2019. During 2018, we are also thinking the other events we can have more cooperation. Of course, we are keen to learn more from US EPA. The person I add to c.c. this mail is my supervisor in TCSB, Chief Shu. He is the Chief of Evaluation Management Division of TCSB. We will have more talk and more learning in the future. If you have any other recommendation that this event or meeting, that will be welcomed and great appreciated. Thank you very much for your kind help. Please stay in touch.
Sincerely yours,
Cherish

Cherish, Thank you so much for the lovely Oolong tea! It was totally unnecessary, but will be greatly enjoyed. I hope the meetings in DC were helpful for you and perhaps our paths will cross next time you visit.
Regards, Nancy
