PILE: P-A-E-ll SUPP. 1 The specifications for applying Noxide Metal Paint as given at the end of page 3 of Technical Department Bulletin No. 2674* dated October 22, 1963 are incorrect in that 105 Aluminum should not be thinned for second coat use. Furthermore, 105 Aluminum should never be thinned with mineral spirits or turpentine. The correct specifications follow: NEW WORK - First Coat: Noxide Red Lead Primer or Noxide One Day Primer. Second Coat: Noxide Metal Paint, each gallon thinned with one pint mineral spirits or turpentine (do NOT thin Aluminum or Natural Graphite). Third Coat: Noxide Metal Paint. OLD WORK - Spot prime bare spots. Apply one or, preferably, two coats Noxide Metal Paint. If two coats are applied, thin first coat as for new work. < Please correct your copy of Technical.
