Thirteen (13) filter cassette samples were received on
December 13, 1988, from Dow Chemical, U.S.A. for asbestos fiber
count. Fibers larger than 5 microns in length were counted by
means of phase-contrast microscopy at a magnification of 400X.
The procedure recommended by NIOSH Method 7400A was followed.
Pertinent information regarding.fiber counts is as follows:
