Dear Dr. Griffith:
I have carefully reviewed the developmental toxicology safety evaluation studies of FC143. This substance has been adequately tested in pregnant rats and rabbits treated by two routes of administration. From the results of these studies, one.clearly concludes that FC143 poses no hazard to the conceptus even at dose levels sufficiently high to produce overt toxicity in the dams.
In view of these facts, there is no need for further developmental toxicology testing of FC 143 in my opinion.
