Carr/ We have spoken with Biddle Sawyer Corporation with reference to their supplying the above mentioned product in 50 pound cartons similar to the ones received now from Lucidol. I have been guoted a delivered price via containers from Europe of $.77 a pound, and a delivered price through a warehouse for storage in New York of $.79 a pound. The possible annual savings if this material is found to be equiva lent or better than our standard material is $15,000. The technical literature looks very good, and H. Carr currently has samples to be evaluated. I might suggest that if we find that it is an equivalent item, we may be able to force a competitive pricing situation with the Lucidol Division without changing our source of supply.
