OPINION

and
ORDER
(Approving Ccompromise -and /Release)
10
11
12
Reconsideration was granted herein`ana puy c/s^Hretumed to
13 the calendar for further hearing on the issue of proper parties
14 defendant. A hearing was held and thereafter the parties filed a
15 proposed settlement agreement providing for a lump sum payment to
16 applicant in the sum of $6,500.00, less attorneys' fees and costs,
17 and further providing that applicant shall assume unpaid and future
18 medical and hospital expense. We find, from the record and the
19 settlement agreement, that no part of the proposed settlement sum
.20 is attributable..to temporary disability indemnity.
21
It* is the opinion of the Workmen's Compensation Appeals Board
22 that the Compromise and Release Agreement is adequate and in the
23 best interests of the parties and therefore should be approved.
24
Applicant's attorneys have rendered services herein of .the
25 reasonable value of $650.00 and have advanced litigation costs in
26 the sum of $47.00 on behalf of applicant.
27
For the foregoing reasons,
28
IT IS ORDERED that the Compromise and Release Agreement filed
29 herein on March 8, 1966, be, and the same hereby is, APPROVED,
30 [payable in the manner and by the named parties as follows:
