Seniff - Referring further to my last letter of Nov, 24th to you with reference to our recent conversation regarding Workmen's Occupational Diseases Act of the State of Illinois, effective Oct. 1, 193: In my letter of Nov. 24th I quoted letter I had received from our Vice President dated Nov. 23rd and requested you, if you had not already done so, to make a complete survey and prepare state ment, by stations, enginehouses, cor departments and shops, separately, shoeing just what machines, equipment, etc., we are now using that come under the Act and how we are guarding against diseases from each act performed by our employees. As you know, Mr. Chinn is chairman o f the Railroad Engineering and Shop Committee and for your ready reference I attach copy of his report dated Nov. 28th concerning the first meeting held by his committee o n Nov. 23th which outlines the program to be followed in making this survey. Further for your ready reference, herewith one set of leaflets covering nine forms of diseases whloh no doubt will be quite beneficial to survey on the B&OCT end Alton.
