W* Gardiner, who presided in the absence of Mr. Edward F. Beale, and Ur.Morris H. Merritt reported the minutes of the meeting. The minutes ef our nesting of August 11 wsrs rsad and approved. Mr* Beevss reported the following oonperativs figures for the first ssven months of 1940 and 1941, without ineluding anp Mow fork overhead! 1941 Profit - $17,178.85 194 Profit - 118,219.08 Seven. Monthe 1941 Profit - $209,419.38 1940 Profit - 72,169.84 The present linseed oil oontraet forms wers diseusasd and there was considerable debate bn whether or not we were justified in allowing our oontraet customers as much leeway in deliverp dates as we do* Mr. Wilson is going to look intb the question of what oontraet forms are being used bp other large linseed oil erushera. On station made bp Mr. 3. French Beeves and ssconded bp Ur. L.T.Beals, it was decided to applp for an appropriation of $1195.00 to eover the purchase of a new machine for sewing our linseed meal bags. Our present machine is 22 pears old and the repair parts to put it in proper shape will aost $400.00 and would probablp take over six months to obtain because sueh parts are new all hand made and not carried in stock. Delivery of the new machine can be obtained more quickly than the repair parts. Ths regular weekly report of shipments for the week ending August 15 was submitted.
