The second and most injurious health hazard is breathing dust contain ing asbestos fibers. The exposure limit is five fibers, no longer than five micrometers, per cubic centimeter of air, eight hours time weighted average. This amount will be further reduced effective July 1, 1976 to two fibers, no longer than five micrometers, per cubic centimeter of air.
